Dr Spencer Pitfield OBE is Senior Adviser for polling, and data consulting company Techne UK. In this regard, he leads UK operations for the company, which is based in Mayfair, London. Highly experienced non-executive director and consultant with a broad background across the charity, voluntary, politics, education and music sectors. Before joining Techne UK, he was a Charity Chief Executive in South Yorkshire for children and adults with Cerebral Palsy and Motor Disorders.
He was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) medal in the January 2016 New Year’s Honours list for political service. Spencer is honoured to be one of 250 colleagues selected to be St. George’s House, Society of Leadership Fellows, Windsor, and has served as a Magistrate (JP) for 16 years.
Spencer has been a professional clarinettist. Once his performing career finished, he became a senior member of the world-renowned specialist music school, the Purcell School of Music in Bushey, Hertfordshire, where he taught some of the finest young musicians from around the world.
